Star Trek Haul!

    i wish i could've gotten the glassware and the trashcan, but together they would've been at least 100 bucks. the men there tried to hassle me (which i don't mind) but they were all extra woodsy because i guess they've never seen a fem fag who's into Star Trek. Granted, a lot of them are into it so idk what they've been missing..

the trashcan would have been fitting, though, because of a lot fans.. no, i'm not getting into that (LOL!)

Other than that, i got two comics!!! they're both Bones-centric so obviously that's why i got them..

Happy Birthday to Me!!!

    IT'S MY BIRTHDAY! (Well, it was, but this post is probably going to be up super late so don't flame me >_<) i am offically 23 and i feel like i'm about to turn into dust like a vampire in the sun. Just kidding, i'm actually more of a werewolf >:3c but besides the usual birthday bid-ness, i got myself a Chelsea cut as one of my gifts. isn't it sick??!!!

Of course, i also had to dye the rest of my hair black. According to my Mother, i had greys in the back so i thought, "Why the Hell not???" .. i love the end result and i am more than likely going to keep it black til the end of the year and allow my hair to grow out.

    As for gifts, i treated myself with some patches and of course some Star Trek books. i even got a card from American Spirit!! i need to use the coupon eventually.. whenever i'm not feeling lazy... maybe its the fried calamari i ate... ( hhrrmmmmm 🤔 )

*Ahem..* i don't know what that was about, but she might be right. Of course, i could go on forever along with a few other topics related, but that would literally take too long.. so expect a better post for that soon in the future.

i've been mostly keeping myself busy for the last few days. i made myself a pronoun pin and a cover for my new dream journal. i used the same scrap paper for both of backgrounds. impressionism, i believe? that sounds and looks about right. but doing these mini projects keeps me motivated, and honestly not as depressed as i'm normally am. no wonder fascist governments wants to ban this sortve stuff, its to keep people in line and under their boot, and thats why we gotta keep at it!!!!!

It's Highly Illogical to Overshare, but Here We Are

    Looking back on old art always either makes me really happy or really sad.. Bittersweet? Yeah, thats the word. i love the human language. but anyways, i know shouldn't focus on the negative so i'll only focus on the good. Spock!!!!! Spock's great, i like him and Leonard Nimoy a lot, and when i was first getting into Star trek, i had to biggest crush on him. Obviously, right? Who wouldn't?? if someone told me they didn't like him, i would silently judge them.. then verbally judge them. As i got further into the episodes, though, i realized quickly that i related to him like crazy!!

but to keep talking about Spock, me and him are ALMOST the same person. we're both mixed race and struggle with our emotions and social-..ness. No wonder a lot of people relate to him, myself included.

i think after i finish writing this sentence, i'm going to draw Spock some more..

i was so ecstatic!!! The venue owner/host even took my photo which was super sweet of them :] all i need now is the insignia from TNG and i will have a complete cosplay.. i will and shall keep my eyes open at every thrift store, flea market, or (PLEASE GOD) have a trekkie pass away and leave behind their entire memorabilia. a lighthearted joke, of course.. but sometimes it happens >_<
